ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTION IS HALF THE ANSWER

For years, I have served as a useful source of help or advice, helping others find the right information to make decisions fully informed. I finally decided to own that role in a much broader sense, starting simonyoung.blog in May 2023.

 

It's mission is to help us find more fully informed answers to our important questions.

 

There may be a bias through my wide experience in energy, carbon, and development-related markets. My background has been informed by my career in the deregulated energy sector and also through an earlier career in international development. I have worked in more than six different product sectors in over a dozen different countries. My strengths lie in understanding value chains in their entirety, particularly in a changing world; a generalist more than a specialist.

My formal education includes a Bachelors degree in business studies, a post-graduate diploma in horticultural science and Masters degrees in both Science and Economics.
